How should we pray when we are travelling?

How can I pray on the plane if I am travelling oversees?

There is no specific answer for this question nevertheless I would say that if the conditions is good in the plane it is better to pray standing but it is not required to face Qibla. Maybe when starting the prayer the person faces Qibla and if the plane changes its position it is not necessary to turn while praying. However, if praying standing would be problem in the plane it is permissible to pray sitting at seat. in this case, there is no need to turn the Qibla

My question is, when non-Muslim members of one’s family pass away, how can we make dua for their souls? I read we cannot do it in the same way we pray for others, but I also don’t want to leave members of my family without prayers in the grave, if possible. I have found many mixed answers and am trying to find some clarity. Is there anything you can help with on this topic? Even if it is just an article or book to read, any help is greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance. Again, I hope you don’t mind me asking you. As I said, no one else I’ve asked has been able to give me a straight answer, because it’s not a very common topic I suppose.
